What do we do?

Active Energy provides a simple and practical approach to building energy certification and Part L compliance for all types of building projects.

We provide SAP & SBEM energy assessment and calculation services for single dwellings, major developments and commercial projects and we always make it as straight forward as we possibly can.

We work closely with architects, builders and developers all over the UK - large and small, to help create energy efficient homes from design stage right through to completion. We also work with self builders and home owners to make sense of the constantly evolving Part L Building Regulations and the many options for creating low energy buildings.  

 We also provide Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for new and existing homes and commercial properties along with Display Energy Certificates for public buildings.

We also support property owners and agents to ensure compliance with the Energy Performance in Buildings Directive, which has far-reaching implications for all buildings in Europe (both dwellings and non-dwellings) and will play a vital role in delivering step-change in buildings-related energy efficiency in the future.  Updates to Part L are already planned for 2013 and 2016 with a view to ensuring all new homes are “zero carbon” by 2016 with commercial property a following later.
